1) WAIST: Measured with the waistband relaxed (not stretched) laid flat on a table. The waistband has substantial stretch, e.g. size medium 38cm 1/2 waist can be stretched to a maximum of ~52cm 1/2 waist (approximately 1.3x stretch). Double the 1/2 waist number to obtain the relaxed waist circumference.

2) INNER LEG: from the bottom of the fly (approximately 12cm or 4" from the pant's crotch) down the inseam to the bottom of the pants. We measure from the bottom of the fly as this is the point where the pant is designed to be at the level of the wearer's actual crotch. The 32"/34" lengths for pants usually refers to the inseam measurement of the actual person.

3) 1/2 LEG OPEN: Measured at the bottom opening of the pant laid flat on a table. Double this number to obtain leg opening circumference.

4) LENGTH: Measured from the top of the waistband along the side of the pant to the very bottom

Too small
I’ve bought many pairs of trousers for my husband from “ Nothings Something “
He loves the fit. Due to a lot of weight loss he’s gone from an XL down to an L. So thought we’d go for the lively stretch jeans they are flooding my instagram with so I obviously chose the “ L” size but I would struggle to get in them as a uk size 10. So I’ve needed to send them back. We’ve gone for XL this time round but I am doubtful as the L was so very small at the waist. The return procedure was very complicated too. I needed to print 4 items 1 postage label and 3 invoices 1 to attach and 2 to hand to the fedex drop off point. I do love the quality of their products but I will be so disappointed if the XL are still too small after the hassle of sending these size L back. BTW I will be debited for the return of my refund/ store credit.
